My grill is 4 years old and the frame was still in great shape. However, flame units were worn out.

1. Read instructions which was very important and after that the repair went very easy. I spent about an hour to complete the repairs because it gave me an opportunity to take my putty knife and clean the inside of the grill out, otherwise it would have only taken about 20 minutes. The igniter was much easier to replace than I thought i t would be. Best to do outside where you don\'t the stuff from inside the grill all over. The bars just set in place after removing the old ones.
The instructions call for removing the cover lid but I didn\'t do that and it went very well.
