My porter cable 2 hp 6 gallon compresser wont shut off, it blows the pressure relief valve. I got a new valve from you still does it. Any ideas? I do not see a pressure switch to shut off the motor.

Hello Robert, thank you for writing. We suggest Four port Regulator part D27253. It allows user to regulate the air pressure in the compressors tank, it is also used to regulate the air pressure of the air exiting the tank. Hello Billy, Thank you for your inquiry. This issue is usually caused by the pressure in the air tank falling. This can be caused by an issue with the pressure switch, the safety valve, the valve plate, or the connecting rod. Good luck with your repair.
