Blade replacement:
Secured a plastic bag under the fuel cap.
Put the mower on its side with air filter up.
Removed the blade bolt.
Cleaned the mower deck.
Placed the new blade and secured it with wrench.
Rear skirting:
Removed the two bolts that secure the rear skirt to the mower and removed
... Read moreremaining broken skirting.
Re-Inserted the bolts and hand tightened them a few turns.
Placed the new skirting into the bolts then tightened both bolts with wrench.
Remove blade bolt and washers
Remove the blade
Remove the broken adapter
Install the new blade adapter, with the key inside lined up with the key way in the engine shaft
Place the new blade on the adapter, then the washers and tighten the new blade bolt
Set push mower on 4x4 wood planks to be able to reach under deck.
Reach under deck to remove nut from blade center
Remove blade and replace with new
Tighten nut
Remove wood planks
First lubricated shaft and blade adapter to make it easier to remove. Used a hammer to carefully loosen blade adapter. Attached new blade adapter by pushing all the way on to shaft and aligning to groove on shaft. Assembled blade with bolt and torqued to 40 psi.

The other blade I had was not the original blade so I thought that this blade would work better.
Take off the blade bolt, then the washers. Take off the broken blade. Put the new blade on the shaft. Put the washers on the shaft. Tighten the blade bolt.
Placed a piece of wood inside the housing to stop the blade from turning. Remove the blade bolt and the washers, then the broken blade. Place the new blade on the shaft, followed by the washers. Then tightened up the blade bolt
