I wanted to change the oil on the mower and decided that I had sharpened the blade to many times. I decided to just replace the blade at the same time I changed the oil. Not very complicated, but something that was necessary.

The bearing on front left wheel wore out. The wheel adjustment of both wheel on front were not holding a position. Replaced both wheel adjuster assemblies which solved both problems.

Remove plastic wheel covers.
Remove both wheels using socket or open end wrench.
Remove keeper clip to remove drive gear from drive shaft on each side.
Remove wheel adjusters and replace with new ones.
Replace in reverse order.

Make sure new front drive wheels are installed on axle shafts at proper depth to mate with Drive gear correctly.

Position lawn mower on side, use socket to remove bolt. Removed damaged blade cleaned surface installed new blade and bolt and tighten. Checked to see no movement in blade. Set lawnmover back down and started lawn mower tan for five minutes, shut off and checked blade and checked the bolt for tightness.
