I gave e Replacement the fan model number and they said they had the motor and squirrel cage.I thought that $90 was a bit high, but what choice did I have. The motor fit perfectly and the squirrel cage attached easily. Installing the motor took 5 minutes, and installing the fan and light took another 10-15 minutes. Works perfectly.

1. Shut off the breaker to the fan in the bathroom
2. Took off the plastic grill with springs
3. Unplugged the fan and removed the fan motor and plate it was attached to.
4. The receptacle was cracked so I disconnected the wires and replaced that.
5. I replaced the old motor with my new one and used new spacers ... Read more />6. Plugged in the motor and put the new motor and motor bracket back up in the housing it was originally in and installed my new plastic grill with springs.
7. Turned the breaker back on and turned the fan on and bingo - worked great!
8. I used replacement parts because my fan was discontinued and a new replacement fan with the same CFM would have required a different size hole and that got into a whole different can of worms. Keep it simple and just replace your parts if possible and do it yourself.

I had previously removed the blower and then ordered the replacement. After I received the replacement, it was easy to install the blower. Total time, if you include the time it took to remove the old blower was about 30 minutes. I probably saved myself anywhere from $75 to $150 by doing it myself.

Motor bearings were worn and noisy. Lots of axial play in motor shaft noted upon disassembly. Wheel was ok, just dirty.

Turn off light and fan.
Remove light lens.
Remove light bulb.
Use utility knife to cut thru caulk I used a year ago to secure cover to ceiling. (I cleaned and oiled the motor and wheel about 15 months ago when the bathroom fan became too noisy.)
Unplug light and motor.
Use Crescent wrench to loosen and remove nut and washers securing light housing.
Use old straight bladed screwdriver or putty knife to pop loose the single tab on one side of the sheet metal plate that the motor is mounted to. It is hard to tell which side has the single tab vs the two tabs, so it took a while to do this step.
Mark the fan housing to indicate for future repairs which side the single tab is located on.
R&R motor from bracket using socket/ratchet, or crescent wrench.
Reverse order to re-assemble.
Use a bit of caulk or glue to attach cover to ceiling. Secure with blue tape until dry.
New installation sounds and works great!
