Pliers, Socket set, Adjustable Wrench, Gear Puller

1. Remove upper & lower cover.
2. Remove drive belt from auger shaft.
3. Remove drive pulley assembly to access auger pulley bolt.
4. Remove auger pulley bolt & pulley.
5. Remove pulley flange with gear puller.
6. Remove bolts from auger shaft bearing & remove auger bearing, bearing cups & thrust washer.
7. Install new thrust washer, bearing & bearing cups.
8. Reinstall remaining parts in reverse order.
9. Adjust tension on auger drive cable.

Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, torque wrench

split front auger assembly from rear section. remove auger assembly. remove bushing assembly. install new bushing assembly. install new nylon bushing in pressure plate. install all new belts as needed. install new cables as needed. Note this toro snow blower is 15 years old and needed all parts talked about. install new bolts nylock nuts, etc as necessary. torque as need. loctight parts as required. reassemble the auger housing to the rear assembly. make all required adjustments to linkage, cables, etc. should be good for a lot of years again. Also adjusted skids, scraper as needed. was able to attain information off the internet. this was my first go around with snow blower repair. made sure to use never seize as required
