This replacement mower wheel is specially made for Snapper lawn mowers. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. This is the wheel that supports and helps to move your mower around. This assembly consists of a metal rim and a rubber tire. This wheel is sold individually.

To replace this wheel you would need a wrench.

• Remove the hub cap and the locknut
• Replace the old wheel with the new one
• Secure it with a nut and a hub cap

    Hello, I need a rear wheel with a spline shaft inside. The wheel bracket has a spline that the wheel slides on to it. There are 8 slots inside the wheel. Do you have a replacement wheel.

    Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set, Small box to rest the mower on during the repair.

    1. Raise the mower body to get the wheels off the ground during the repair.
    2. Remove the plastic protective covers from each wheel.
    3. Front wheels - Remove the retaining nut from each wheel using a 1/2 inch wrench on the inside and a 1/2 inch socket on the retaining nut.
    4. Install the new wheels using the same nuts and washers.
    5. Rear wheels - Same procedure as with the front wheels excepting it is necessary to clamp the axle with a vise grip plier while removing the retaining nuts.

    Couldn't get nut off wheels. They had never been off since new (20 yrs). And of course, wheel wanted to rotate with nut. I soaked the nuts with wd-40, put a C clamp on wheel to stabilize and not rotate when trying to remove nut. Worked like a charm. First wheel took 45 min., second wheel to less than 15 min.

    1. Removed the nut cover of the old wheel. 2. Removed the axle nut. 3. Removed wheel. 4. Put new wheel on axle. 5. Replace axle nut. 6. Repeat for other side.

    1. Removed the bolt.
    2. Wheel would not come off easily, lightly hammered the backside of the wheel while turning the wheel occasionally.
    3. Removed wheel and sprayed grease on the shaft
    4. Replaced new wheel.
    5. Tighten bolt.

    Reverse the the order of disassembly and you are done
