Washing machine leaking

It all started when I noticed the tub was filling up over night. So I opened the top of the washer to see where the leak was. I could see it was coming from the fill/mixer valve. So I went to EPARTS for a replacement valve job was almost done except for cleaning the wire ends oh by the way. I unplugged the machine first secondly turned off the water supply to the Hot & Cold.
Replaced water feed lines also. Reassembled the machine hooked it back up. Job done! After two weeks haven’t had the problem since.
