This is a flat metal washer designed for use with various chainsaw models to enhance the secure fastening of the main drive sprocket within the chain drive. It is an authentic OEM washer meant to be positioned between the main drive sprocket and a securing screw, both available separately. Before making your purchase, it is advisable to contemplate replacing the corresponding screw when replacing this washer. This ensures that they wear uniformly, establishing a sturdy connection, particularly in equipment that experiences substantial vibrations during operation. If you observe wear on your main drive sprocket or encounter issues such as chain skipping or dislodging, contemplate replacing the hardware responsible for its fastening, including this washer, to fortify the entire drive assembly.
