Product Description ?

This part comes directly from KitchenAid’s factory. This washer is made of metal and fits on the Agitator Shaft (part number 243368) below the Shear Pin (9707223) and the Pinion Gear (9703903). The Washer is used as a spacer as well as providing protection to the Planetary bushing. This part, as well as all moving parts in KitchenAid mixers, should be lubricated with a food safe grease such as part number 4176597 Planetary Grease.

After removing the top cover and punch pin from the planetary, the retaining clip had to come off. Use a snap ring removal tool. Remove the washer, and slide the shaft down. Be sure to have the correct grease for Kitchen Aid mixer. Reassemble in the reverse order.
