1. Remove saw blade
2. Remove small steel plate (2 screws)
3. Unscrew depth shaft thumb lever and bolt
4. Install new parts
5. Reverse order to put it back together

Screwdriver, Wrench Set, Snap ring pliers
Take off saw blade. Remove saw blade safety guard by removing snap ring retainer. Remove inner plate that houses tension spring for safety guard to access bolt for blade depth. Replace bolt for depth set and reverse process for reassembly.
