I shopped at the right place!
I needed a belt for a self-propelled mower. The belt that was on the Craftsman mower was stretched and worn. Since it was an older model, I was pleased to have found a business that carried it. The service was prompt, the part was right, the price was good. I appreciate doing business with you. Thank you!

    1. Took bolt out that was holding blade in, replaced with new blade, replaced bolt and tightened.
    2. Removed 2 bolts 1 on each side of front of mower and removed old baffle, replaced with new baffle, holes lined up perfectly and replaced bolts to secure baffle. Used a 1/2 socket and ratchet.
    3. Removed small nut screw to remove housing on drive belt with a ratchet, flipped mower backwards and removed belt tensioner with ratchet, removed old belt and replaced with new belt, placed belt tensioner back in place, put mower back on all wheels and replaced housing.
This job of replacing all parts was rather easy, I believe a novice could do it with ease. I've had experience in working on all my mowers over the years in replacing different parts, so for me it was a snap.

Both wheels, inside plastic gear had rouned flat and height adjuster had broken at bearings.

    Time

    30-60 minutes

    Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Snap ring pliers

Removed both wheels with socket. Removed height adjuster by removing two bolts under deck, removed snap ring and sliding gear off axel(there is a set pin behind it that you have to remove to complete next step) and using quite some force to slide broken bearing and adjuster off of axle. For some reason I ordered the wrong side height adjuster but converted it to the other side by simply removing lock c-clamp and flipping it inside out. Greased all axle points and bearing and slid new adjuster on followed by gear and set pin then wheels. A few washers in there as well. Removed debris cap over drive belt and replaced belt. My neighbor borrowed my mower and then problems started, I caught him banging the front of the mower on the ground to shake loose wet grass from underbelly of deck and he broke the height adjuster and hence the wheels began stripping. He's a decent fella but dumber than a stump.
