This is an authentic OEM part for use with Husqvarna and Poulan Lawn Tractors. The blade drive belt turns the pulley that spins the blades on the mower deck. The most common reason for replacing the belt is when it is worn, as part of regular (at least yearly) preventive maintenance. If the belt is broken, the mower blades will not rotate. This part is sold individually. There are no tools needed to replace the belt.

Parts Used
I removed the mower deck from the tractor which was the hardest part of the job. Removed the old belts and installed the new ones which was about 5 minutes tops. It was really a piece of cake and the fit was perfect as well. Made a drawing of pulleys and belt position before removing old ones.
