    Good replacement
I ordered this for my daughters snow blower but the shipping options made it impossible to send it directly to her. The problem? She lives in Alaska. The least expensive option was over $70.00. It cost just over $5.00 to have it shipped to me and then about $12.00 to use a USPS flat rate envelope. Seriously? You just give up the Alaska market? They realize the shipping will be more but these shipping costs say you dont want their business.

Drive belt was worn out and would not move causing tension spring to fall off, (lost) and replaced the auger belt seeing as I was in that area any way.

Replaced both belts, tension spring, and fixed a gas leak. Machine needed to be stood on end to access and replace both belts. A pin that prevents the auger belt from jumping off the pulley also needed to be removed to replace the belt. A cover on the top side of the blower also needed to be removed to replace the belts. A bolt holding the belt pulleys and spacer needed to be removed to replace the belts. Was a fun and rather easy job. The spring was replaced that holds tension on the drive belt and controls the dive gear assembly.

With the unit off and cold I removed the belt cover and slipped off the old belts. They were so bad I didn't need any tools. Both belts have spring loaded pulleys so to install the belts I slipped on the inside belt first and then the outer one. The cable had 2 hooks and a pulley. With the old cable broken I simply unhooked both ends. I re-hooked the end attached to the belt pulley and than ran the cable to the handle. The handle snaps in and out so I removed it and hooked on the cable, then snapped the handle back in.
