The valve fuel check fits between the hose clamp and the grommet check valve. This is an authentic part from Husqvarna, Poulan, and Jonsered for use in zero turn lawn mowers. It is sold individually and is made out of plastic. A set of pliers and a socket set might be helpful during the installation of this part. This part may break and will need to be replaced.

    Screwdriver, Socket set, Pry bar to help hold blades during replacement.

    Changed out air filter and fuel check valve easily. 10 minutes.
    Swapped out old blades for new ones. One hour.

    Used two screwdrivers to pry old valve out removed old grommet and replaced it ,put a little oil on new valve and shoved it into top of tank and rehooked rubber line and I was finished

    Washout port was broken off, and the fuel check valve was bad

    Used a 1/4 in drive ratchet and socket to remove the wasout port and then used pliers to remove the fuel check valve took about 15 minutes to replace both very easy job.
