Remove the valve cover and gasket. Clean the area where they are located. Install the gasket then the cover. Removed the air filter cover, then the old filter. Took the new filter and put it in a plastic bag with some oil in it. Agitated the filter in the bag. I then took the oiled filter and squeezed the excess oil into some paper towels. Then installed the new filter and the filter cover. Removed the old spark plug and gapped the new one at 0.025 then installed it in the cylinder head.
