    Compressor wouldn’t start with pressure in tanks

    Turn power off to compressor. Drained air to 0. Removed line from compressor to tank. Removed old check valve. Installed new. Reassembled

    Check valve was leaking

    Removed the tube from the check valve to the top of the compressor. Then remove the tube from the check valve to the pressure switch. Then removed the check valve. Reinstall in reverse order

    Removed the air lines from the old check valve, and removed it. Installed the new one and attached the air lines.

    Check valve failed

    Removed the tubing from the old check valve then removed the check valve. Installed the new check valve & replaced the tubing. Compressor works great now.

    Compressor continued to leak at the shut off switch after it reached max pressure.

    After draining all air, I removed all the lines that went to this check valve It was a tight fit for any wrenches in my Devilbiss upright. I then unscrewed the old check valve and compared the two. Replacement part was a perfect match. Old one was very corroded. Compressor was 10 years old. Installed new valve and everything works perfectly now

    Dewalt compressor stopped working
