Had waited a long time to do this as I thought it would be difficult.
But the motor on the machine was good so decided to try.

Removed the 3 screws that held the plastic piece that anchored one end of the hose. Remove the old hose from the spot where it attached to the vacuum by lining up the anchor slot. Then replaced the part I took off, and it was good to go.
