Only needed a socket wrench. Other end of the axle stud was fixed in place so didn't need a wrench to get the wheel nut off. I noticed the nut was not as easy to turn. It was as if the threads were not cleanly cut. Don't know if this is by design but it works better since I don't have to worry about the nuts working loose since I didn't have any thread locking stuff like Locktite on hand.
