This replacement throttle cable is an authentic OEM sourced part. It is specially designed for use with handheld gas powered string trimmers. The throttle cable is the linkage between the throttle trigger and the carburetor. It will stop the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. This assembly consists of a metal throttle cable and a plastic housing. Please note, the trigger and screws for the housing are sold separately.
To complete this repair you will need a screwdriver.
• Disconnect the accessory
• Separate the throttle housing
• Remove the trigger
• Remove the rear cover
• Remove the throttle cable
• Install the new throttle cable
• Reassemble and test the unit

2. Unhook the cable from the throttle.
3. Unplug the cable from the holder using a flat head screwdriver to lightly unlock the holder.
4. Hook the cable to the throttle and the trigger and plug in the holder.
5. Replace the handle.
