1. removed one screw and the back cover.
2. remove switch, disconnect wires with pliers.
3. connect wires to new switch, replace in holder.
4. lift spring holder off brush, remove, disconnect wire.
5. attach wire of new brush, insert into holder, replace spring.
6. repeat #4&5 with second brush.
7. replace back cover.

Removed cover from grinder, disconnected appropriate wires. Removed damaged switch and inserted new switch, connected wires. Replaced cover.
