This is an authentic manufacturer approved replacement ignition switch sourced from original equipment manufacturer. It is designed for use with a variety of riding lawn mowers/tractors. It allows user to start their equipment using a simple ignition turn key (sold separately). This switch has a metal body and it is sold individually.
Replacing this switch is easy and would only require a wrench or pliers.
• Reach under cover/housing and disconnect wiring harness from the old switch
• Remove nut that secures the switch to the housing
• Pull out the switch
• Secure new switch in place
• Reconnect wires and secure the nut
• Reassemble and test the unit

Unplugged old switch then loosened retaining nut and removed. installed the new switch and tighten the nut and plugged back in.

Removed and replaced ignition switch, reconnected wiring. One of the connectors on the wiring had t be adjusted.
