    Socket set

Remove pull start assembly (3-bolts) then remove engine shroud cover ( 5-bolts) using 1/4" or 3/8" socket set with 7/16 deep socket. Inside engine shroud cover the on/off switch is removed by bending the ground tang off the shroud and lifting out of switch mount hole. With a new switch inserted in mounting hole bend the switch ground tang over the shroud to lock switch in place. Before reinstalling the shroud on engine do a continuity test. If switch has been properly installed, there should be continuity from switch wire to engine when switch is set to "OFF".
