Fix my drill that would have ended up in the scrap yard
This was a direct replacement for the switch assembly in my old Ryobi P201 Cordless Drill. I like the fact it even came with shrink wrap for the terminals and a small piece of solder! Shipping was quick and communications with eReplacementParts was easy.

Disassembled drill motor case desoldered old switch and resoldered new one. Existing switch factory install must have used silver solder, bench soldering iron wasn’t hot enough for quick removal .

Switch Assembly broke in the "Reverse" direction

1. Unscrewed the Drill Case
2. Cut Wires from Motor Assembly
3. Soldered wires from new switch to motor assembly, taking care to make sure heat sealed
tubing and wire insulation was installed.
4. Check that new selector on new drill switch was working.
5. Reassembled Drill case.
