The part was an exact replacement for the one that had broken. It fit with no issues at all. That's a nice feature. Delivery was quick also.

Stability strap cracked into 2 pieces

The stability "strap" is not a flexible piece of thin material that you might associate with the word strap. It is a solid piece of steel that anchors the tractor frame to the transmission housing to help eliminate flexing of the frame as the tractor moves over rolling, washboard or bumpy lawn surfaces. The old strap had cracked where it was bent to allow for the angled connection.

The new strap arrived on time and was a perfect fit. That helped a lot. It was not necessary to make any modification in order to install. Only tools required were some sockets a ratchet and some box wrenches. The only thing to remember is to tighten the bolts by hand alternately because the trans housing is softer metal than the tractor frame.and can be stressed. Once all bolts are hand tightened you can finish by torquing to required specifications.

I've ordered part from ERP before and never had a problem. They have competitive prices and and I've always received the correct part.
