This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement recoil starter which is used on Kawasaki engines commonly installed on Toro lawn and garden equipment. It is the component which allows a user to easily pull-start the engine. It is a complete assembly which includes a plastic housing, starter pulley, starter spring, and the pull rope with a grip, please note the hardware to secure the assembly is sold separately.

    Starter rope pulled through recoil top and had difficulty in rewinding. Primer bulb cracked, leading fuel.

    Removed the four bolts holding the recoil top and cut the Rope at the handle after tying a knot in the Rope. Installed a new recall top using the four bolts.
    Remove the two bolts on the carburetor assembly. Removed the not holding the primer bulb. Inserted the new primer bulb and tightened down with nut. Reinstalled the carburetor assembly and tightened up with two bolts

    My old starter recoil would take forever to return so if it didn't start on the first pull I'd have to work it back in.

    Simply unscrew four bolts and pull the old recoil assembly then bolt the new one on.
