-Removed the screw holding the rope pulley in place.
-With a pair of needle nose pliers I grabbed the old spring and lifted it out.
-I lined up the new spring with the catch lug being careful the spring was the right
direction.
-With my fingers spread out over the spring that is still in the retainer ring, I carefully
used a screwdriver to push the new spring from the retaining ring into position.
-It's pretty much re-assembly in reverse order.

2. Removed the rope pulley.
3. Removed the old broken recoil spring.
4. Installed the new recoil spring.
5. Reinstalled the old rope pulley.
6. Put tension on the spring and rewound the rope.
7. Reattached the recoil assembly to the engine.
