The spring that holds the seal on the French door failed and the seal had to be held in place to close that side door. I removed the broken pieces of the spring and the upper PVC sleeve. I put the sleeve on the new spring and inserted it back into the door, starting with the top of the spring (it goes in with just a little effort). Take care to orient the spring such that it holds the seal open, when the door is open. Take just a few minutes from start to finish.
