My FL1500 Weed Eater blower must have been one of the very first one's manufactured because it did not have suffix number. I could not find a you tube video showing without a suffix. The number one problem I had was trying to use the Spring Starter 545008011 right out of the box. I could not get the rewind spring to retract the pull rope until after much frustration I rewound the spring in the opposite direction and that solved the problem.. Hope this helps someone with one of the very first blowers manufactured.

REMOVED STARTER HOUSING, REMOVE FLYWHEEL, REMOVE ROPE AND SPRING ASSEMBLY. REASSEMBLE IN REVERSE ORDER. NOW WORKS BETTER THAN NEW.

I ordered a new starter spring because this blower is about 15 years old so I figured it was shot. I also replaced the pull rope with a better quality nylon rope. The old rope was flattened which made it stick when it was wound up. It all works perfect now.
