    ver easy repair
Called customer service to request suggestion as to what was wrong with my Echo string line trimmer. The gentleman on the other end didn't really know but puled up the parts for the line feeder and as he was asking questions I discovered mine was missing some pieces. I asked several questions to insure what he was looking at was truly what was missing and exactly where they attached to the equipment. The rep. didn't seem to get anxious due to my ignorance and in the end I ordered the missing pieces as well as a few I didn't need quite yet. The customer service rep. was extremely polite and respectful of my lack of knowledge. When the parts arrived, I installed them and my Echo trimmer was back to operating "perfectly" again. I was putting off this call for more than a year, jury rigging the trimmer each time I used it because I didn't know what was wrong with this trimmer and my "pride" got the better of me. I assume everyone won't be as fortunate as I and have a rep. take the time to help diagnose the problem over the phone (what are the chances?). Thanks to all who helped me! Mike

    Easy repair
Part got my string trimmer up and going. Took longer than it should've to arrive (got lost in the mail??). It was an hour away and going to be on time and when the part didn't arrive I checked now it was 4.5 hrs away and delivery was delayed.
