    Arm brake was damaged from belt pulley when mandrel broke at the deck mounting

    Screwdriver, Wrench Set

    1. Installed new mandrel on deck but I did not use the new stripper.
    2. Put belt pulley back on mandrel.
    3. Installed new arm brake.
    4. Installed new extension spring from arm brake to bracket on deck. I used a screwdriver as a lever to stretch the spring to get it into place on the bracket. This was the most difficult part of the repair since I did not a a spring stretching tool like those used for stretching springs on drum brakes on cars.

    Take deck of to gain access to deck suspension arm and remove fuel tank to gain access go c-clip to drop part and replace pretty stra forward.

    One spring was getting ready to go, so I replaced all of them plus the belt guard was broke

    Arm brake was wore out, spring was missing, idler spring worn, clutch showed worn.

    when't well. fast and easy. I unhooked the mower deck from the tractor, slid the deck to one side and replaced and added the parts needed to get the mower to work properly. Easy peasy it was done..

    Rusted broke bolts and springs

    lubed hinges and replaced springs
    worked broke bolts out with WD-40
    Anti-sized new bolts and installed
    Ground entire deck down, removed rust, primered and repainted
