It is one of the covers for the cushion holder springs. The cover is designed to protect it from dust and other debris which can compromise its functionality. Over time it may wear out or crack eventually requiring a replacement. Refer to the diagrams of your model for the exact location of this component. Replacing it is a simple task that should not require any special tools, simply pull off the old cover and press on the new one. One durable rubber part is included. Note, the spring itself is not included, it is sold separately.
