The old nylon sprayer valve was wearing out. The new metal one is excellent.

Parts Used
I removed a hose clamp from the old spray wand assembly. I used side cutter pliers to cut the old tubing to make a clean end, then inserted it onto the end pipe of the wand assembly. The threaded parts were hand-tightened. There were no leaks with the new assembly. The new valve is more sensitive to touch, but it works better than the old.
