Ordered spool assembly and had to order the cover as well. Did not need to replace the spool assembly, but definitely the cover. The cover is made better than the original.
Both parts were in great condition when they arrived; and, they arrived in a timely manner. I did not receive an email confirmation on the cover, so I called and your customer service rep was very helpful. I will definitely use your company again.

I looked up my model on line and found instructions to repair trimmer that would not auto advance the line and followed instructions. Took less than 5 minutes to repair and it works like new. Too much is going into land fills that can be repaired at a reasonable cost so that is why I fixed my trimmer. This place had the parts I needed and was easy to order and at my door in days. I was thrilled. All I need to do was press the sides of the bottom cap to remove the old spool and spring. The I used pliers to pull the lever out of the spool housing , then pressed the new one in. Inserted the new spool and line with 4 or 5 inches of line out of the eyelets on the spool cover, placed in the spring, then pressed the bottom cap back on.

The spool cover had wore thin and the entire cover cracked and popped off. The spring and spool were also lost in the process since I no longer had the Cover to hold everything in place.

, Just my brain and hands were used!

Removed the old cover (what was remaining anyway).
I then tested to verify the new cover fit since my original cover was black and this one was orange. It fit perfect.
I removed the new cover and attempted to determine the direction of the spool. I lined the spool side with the adjustment arm inside the main spool holder.
I then tested the spring to determine if it should go on before the spool or after.
I quickly determined that it goes on after the spool and string are in place.
I then placed the cover on, plugged in the trimmer, and squeezed the trigger.
Back in business...after 5 years of non-use since the old cover cracked!

Simply installed the new spool, put on the new cover, and done!!! (Old spool kept as a spare for now)
NOTE: oddly, the old spool did NOT automatically feed the line as it wore down, necessitating removing spool and manually feeding of line!?!, but the new one from your company seems to work as intended!!
    Thank You!
