Screwdriver, Pliers, small hammer

Jacked up the front end of mower.
Removed hubcap
Pried ring clip off
Removed washers and wheel, as well as inside washer
Removed spindle cap
Removed ring clip
Removed spindle

Pried out the two plastic bushings in the spindle tube and replaced with two purchased locally (did not show these on the parts diagram that cam with the mower.)
Replaced parts in reverse from above.
Installed two new wheel/tire assemblies purchased for 1/2 the price ereplacement parts wanted for two wheels (no tires); purchased from another dealer.

Wheel alignment was way out due to accident. Actual problem was bent front axle. ordered axle.

Socket set, Wrench Set, Pliers

Removed Spindles while attached to steering arms.
Removed front axle.
Modified axle channel to provide front axle movement as designed.
Refastened L/R spindle to axle.
Alignment was now correct .
Design of front steering allowed easy access to all parts for repair/replacement.

Bad bearing and spindle arm

Pliers, Wrench Set, Small hammer

Removes the old arm. Punched the old bearing out of the wheel. Installed the new bearing, tapping it in lightly with a small hammer. Reinstalled the new parts. Greased the reinstalled joints.
