    Carburetor-fuel overflowing

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Gasket scraper (razor blade) ,carb cleaner, air compressor

    1. Shut off fuel valve.
    2. Disconnected fuel line.
    3. Opened fuel valve, drained old gas from tank.
    4. Drained carburetor via drain screw.
    5. Removed air cleaner assembly and disconnected ohv breather tube.
    6. Removed carburetor and disconnected linkage.
    7. Disassembled carburetor, cleaned METAL PARTS ONLY with carb cleaner / compressed air.
    8. Cleaned all intake gasket surfaces w/razor blade.
    9. Reassembled carburetor with new parts.
    10. Reinstalled parts in reverse order.
    11. NEW GAS (high octaine, no ethanol)
    12. (Took photos at each step for reference)

    Engine runs rough at low rpm (idle) dirt in main jet

    Removed carburetor,removed main jet and cleaned with solvent. blew out with compressed air replace gaskets and reassembled. start engine all is good again.(note ) i have been a mechanic for forty years.
