Product Description ?

This is an original part from Husqvarna for use with Lawn Tractor/Riding Mowers. The starter solenoid engages and routes the battery electrical supply to the engine starter when the ignition switch turns to the start position. The most common reason for replacing the solenoid is when the engine will not start or even turn over, and the battery is not dead. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the starter solenoid are two 7/16” wrenches, and a 3/8” socket. Disconnect the battery before installing this part.

    1. Zero-turn mower was metric
    2. Disconnected battery.
    3. Removed solenoid
    4. Installed solenoid
    5. Connected battery
    6. The previous solenoid from eReplacement Parts had melted. It lasted past the 45 day limit. We had a very dry period and I only cut the grass twice. I ordered two more solenoids, one to replace the burned out one and one for a spare.
    7. The placement of the solenoid was under a metal support and it was a feel as you go since you could not see the part
