This part also lifts the auger housing to keep it from getting damaged. It is recommended, when replacing this part, you will need to replace both height skids to keep it even. I attempted to remove the carriage bolts holding the skids, but they just spun. Vice grips were used to hold them in place to turn the nuts. They eventually had to be cut off with a hacksaw. I was tempted to replace them with a common hex head bolt but the auger blade wouldn't clear it. So carriage bolts 1/4" x 3/4" were used.
The scraper blade was much easier. I losened the 5 rusty nuts on the back side, tapped the blade to the desired depth and retightened the nuts. I didn't have the trouble I expected. These carriage bolts didn't slip.

Remove 4 bolts put 1/2" block under the middle of blower install new skids and tighten bolts.
