My snapper riding mower is over twenty years old and still running strong. When the shift handle weld broke and I needed a replacement part , with it being so old , I thought that I would never be able to find the correct part that I needed. I found what I was looking for on the eReplacementParts website. I was an exact fit and not overly priced far cheaper that buying a new mower.

The replacement shift handle was exactly like the OEM handle that came on the Snapper 10hp - 28" riding mower. Works and looks great.

Broken shift lever and link from bellcrank to transmission

I have a Snapper 30" 11 HP rear-engine mower and the shift link from the transmission to the bell crank broke, along with the gearshift lever (right above the gear position plate). The shift link went on with no problem (though it's tight getting too it), but I ended up having to grind both ends of the pivot pin off so I could get the lever removed then drilling out the pivot pin that holds the shift lever to the shaft. It just didn't want to come out, even with some very heavy 'persuasion'. That sucker was IN THERE! Big pain. It took a little over an hour, but would have been a 20 minute job, but for the drilling the pivot pin out.

Parts from ereplacementparts went on no problem. Rapid delivery and great prices! My one-stop source for lawn equipment repair items!

Noticed the axle boots broken, so I felt the problem mite be that dirt was causing the extra strain on shift handle. Replaced the parts that I got from ereplacementparts. All fit perfect and now it shifts and drives great. Thanks

It's nothing to do with the part itself. The part is an exact match to the original. The process is hard because of the manufacturer's design.
