    Remove broken shear pins and cotter pins from the machine. Line up the holes in the auger and the shaft and insert shear pins and secure them with the cotter pins. And get spares

    Order shear pin and cotter pin. Line up the holes on the auger and the axle. Inert the shear pin through the auger and axle, secure the shear pin by placing the cotter pin in the hole of the shear pin.
    I ordered extra of both of these parts, because they do have a habit of breaking. But they do save the snowblower from damage.

    Turned the blade to align the holes on the blade with the shaft, put the new shear pin in, placed the cotter pin, and there you go. It was fixed.
