This flexible drive shaft fits inside the drive shaft housing assembly to drive the cutting head. It is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement item that is specially designed for Weed Eater string trimmers. Eventually, the rounded ends will fail to engage the trimmer head. It is also possible to kink or even break the drive shaft cable by stopping the trimmer head very rapidly. It is made from high quality metal and it is sold individually.
