Product Description ?

This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with riding lawnmowers. The special steering shaft is commonly used to link the steering wheel and the left and right side tie rods. This steering shaft is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

    Tools Used

    Screwdriver, Side cutters, drive pin and hammer

    Removed cotter pins from steering linkage.
    Removed shaft and bushings.
    Drove roll pin out of steering wheel.
    Replaced components on new shaft and slid new shaft into place.
    Put bushings and cotter pins on top side of column. Put shaft cover over shaft.
    Put steering wheel back on and lined up hole. Drove roll pin into place evenly.
