This replacement armature assembly is an authentic item that is specially manufactured for Milwaukee power tools. It is a center component of an electric motor, armatures fail most often from heat and stress when the tool is overloaded. It is a complete assembly which includes the armature, the plastic fan, the armature bearing and the commutator end bearing. It is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. Please note this high-quality component is sold individually.

Removed half of the case. Pulled armature and card assembly out of form fitted spots. Removed the twin screws on card assembly for the two wires and put new card in.
