This is an authentic OEM part for use with Frigidaire, Kenmore, Gibson, Westinghouse, Kelvinator, Tappan, Electrolux and Crosley Dryers. The valve coil kit opens the gas valves while the dryer is running. This kit contains two coils, one is a two-wire secondary coil and the other is a three-wire booster coil. Both coils in the ignition coil kit should be used together in the dryer. The most common reason for replacing the valve coil kit is if the dryer takes too long to dry clothes and there is no heat during operation.

had to take the dryer top off and the front to get to the burner to replace the coils. did that first and that fixed the problem so saved the sensor.

One coil on gas valve did not show any resistance.

Parts Used
Remove bracket holding coils in place. Disconnect wire connectors to coils. Replace with new. Many videos on You Tube describing procedure. Also diagrams on e-replacement.com very helpful.
