Rigid Round Head framing nailer would not drive nail. It had a constant air leak. The round seal seems dry rotted and disintegrated.

Remove old bushing or seal what ver it might be referred too.
In my case the seal had fractured and disintegrated with in the housing.
I used low pressure air to remove all the tiny pieces that were left behind.
I used reel grease to lube all the rubber seals, there are 4
the seal push in to the top piece. it only goes in one way.
made sure every this was free of debris and reassembled

Removed piston cap
Removed Allen screw in center (use caution Allen screw holding piston valve center has spring and is under tension)
Press out valve and Hd. Valve piston Piston
Press in new parts
Insert Allen screw in center (again use caution as center will be under tension from the spring)
Attach piston cap
Insert 4 Allen screws/bolts
