This is an authentic replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The engine air seal is commonly found in generators from Briggs & Stratton. This part is made of foam, and is used to help seal the connection with the engine end bulkhead. Over time, it may become worn or frayed, requiring replacement. Please be aware that there are different foam seals used in the machine. Refer to the parts diagram to be sure of ordering the correct part. You may require a screwdriver or wrench when replacing this item. The engine air seal is available as an individual replacement part.

Power Drill, Socket set, Scraper

Turned off breaker at generator, removed fuse, removed the top cover of the generator, removed old seals, cleaned sealing surface, replaced with new seals, reinstalled top cover, fuse and turned breaker on.
