This is a screw with washer for the front-assist handle assembly on a string trimmer. This part includes one screw and one washer. Four of these screws are needed to secure the handle to the shaft, so this is a good time to inspect all four and replace as needed. These screws can be loosened with a hex wrench, which may have been supplied with the string trimmer. When mounting or adjusting this handle, it should be positioned between the rear handle housing and the warning label. Once you've secured the handle in place, make sure it is in a position so your front arm is straight when using the trimmer. The height can be adjusted my loosening these four screws and moving the handle up or down. If one of these screws goes missing or is damaged, it is important to replace it right away, as operating the string trimmer with a loose assist-handle is extremely dangerous.
