    The miter saw fell off the bench and the handle was broken.

    Removed the old handle. It helps to take a couple photos of the wire routing after the top piece of the old handle is removed. Remove both pieces and reassemble. Pretty easy job.

    original trigger was broken and hole stripped out

    removed old handle, disconnected old switch, reconnected wiring, tapped holes, installed threaded insert, finished installing handle, repaired damage on cord, tested saw; tested good

    The handle crumbled in my hands when carrying

    1- took picture of wiring diagram with phone
    2- removed all old screws and mapped them out to what spots they went to. Make sure you make note of where they come from. There are 7 different screws to do this. Used a #15 star bit.
    3- disconnect wires from trigger assembly and remove wire clamp
    4- remove bottom piece of handle assembly
    5- route all wires from the saw through the base of new handle
    6-place power cord at back and reconnect the trigger assembly and route all wires according to the picture or wire diagram
    7- screw it all back together using the map you made of where the screws go-note: screw handle to saw first before screwing the handle together

    Broken Switch Housing Cover

    Removed Switch housing cover including undoing wiring harness (Cell phone picture of wiring before disassembly.).
    Installed new housing, reattached wires
