    What type of wrench locks the chuck and is p/n 149518-00 which is obsolete from what I gather and is it a metric or sae bolt. What size wrench fits it? It is very hard to see down there.

    Unscrew the chuck from the drill. Remove broken screw. Install the chuck. Insert the new screw in chuck. Tighten in a left handed direction with a torx driver.

    chuck would not hold the drill bits tight

    remove the retaining screw for the chuck and put allen wrench inn the chuck and hit it with a hammer to loosen. retaining screw is left handed threads and the chuck is right handed threads
