The screw with hex washer attaches to the pivot bracket assembly. This item is available as an individual replacement part.     1. removed broken parts
    2. lift the tractor
    3, Disconnect the wheel rods
    4. clean the area
    5. star mounting new parts
    6. It is necessary to disconnect all wheel rods and arms in order to have more space and flexibility

    Original keeper belt was broken. Part of it was still bolted on.

    Since part of the broken keeper belt was still on, it was just as matter of taking that bolt out with the broken part and simply replacing it with new parts.

    LH bracket broke causing roller to fold.under deck

    Removed old screws, damaged nose roller, RH & remaining LH brackets. Placed new brackets, nose roller and shaft all together. Then used new screws to anchor to mower deck.

    It is 15 years old. The deck and some components were worn out.

    Replaced the deck with new one. Also replaced belts, blades, guage wheels and nose roller.
    I had to repair the chassis where the anti sway bar attaches with a piece of 2" angle bolted in place.

    Blade brakes were worn out, the Blades need replacing and the grass shout lost the spring

    Removed old Blade brakes
    Replaced with new brake arms and pads
    Adjusted the brake release arm
    Removed grass shroud
    Replaced the spring
    Replaced shroud
    Replaced deck under the mower
    Hung deck back on mower
    Started cutting Grass

    Had to replace the Mandrel and pulley.

    Removed the Deck from the tractor.
    Removed the pulley
    Removed 4 bolts from the mandrel
    Replaced the mandrel with the new one purchased
    Put on the new pulley
    Replaced the old blade
    Reconnected the deck to the tractor

    Lawn Tractor steering was bad

    1. Removed steering wheel cap removed bolt and washer
    2. Removed bolts on gear sector plate.
    3. Removed tie rods from gear sector plate
    4. Removed bolts from bushing
    5. Removed steering shaft
    6. Installed steering shaft
    7. Installed bushing, and gear and Gear sector plate and retainer spring
    8. Replaced new bolts and washers
    9. Installed new washer and nut
    10. Replaced steering cap, completed job
